+ Are your bottles/jars recyclable?

Our jars are BPA free made from PET plastics. If you regularly buy products in our signature black jars, hold on to your empty ones and three to Charlie Renee in exchange for a free lip butter!

+ How are your payments processed?

We accept credit card payments using Square and PayPal.

+ I am experiencing problems placing orders online. How can I place an order?

If you have any trouble with processing your order, please contact me right away so I may notate the correct address.

+ I ordered body butter and it arrived melted?

Our butters are whipped to offer you a creamy souffle like moisturizer. This allows the moisturizer to melt in contact with your skin.

During the summer months and/or transit through hot areas, the body butter may soften or melt completely. Temperatures between 75 to 95 presents a shipping dilemma for both you and Charlie Renee. In our attempt to reduce this occurence, we ship your orders in an insulated mailer with ice packs. We also freeze the body butters for 24 - 48 hours. The ice packs or freezing of the products can result in label damage as well. We constantly researching shipping solutions to resolve this issue in the future. Though it is our mission to deliver the safe and quality products, we are at a disadvantage against mother nature.

+ My body butter melted. Will it solidify?

If your butters may arrive melted or melt because it was in a warm place, you can place them in the fridge 30 mins or freezer for 10 mins and they will begin to solidify. Be sure to keep your body butters in a cool dry place to avoid melting

+ Can I place an order via email?

We prefer you make your orders on the website but we understand situations wont always permit. You may email orders to charlierenee55@gmail.com. We will then confirm your order and send you an invoice via PayPal or Square.

+ What happens if the shipping address is incorrect?

If the shipping address is incorrect and the package is returned, we will need to request payment for shipment. If the error is on our part, we will gladly return the item at no cost. If your package is shipped and marked delivered by USPS and you did not receive it or you think the package was stolen, we request that you contact USPS about the matter.

+ Do I have to pay sales tax for an online order?

VA residents are required to pay sales tax for orders placed by Virginia residents. All other orders are not subject to sales tax.

+ How long does it take to prep and ship the product?

Charlie Renee produces our product made to order. This is done to ensure a fresh product is delivered to our customer. Our turn around time is 2-3 business days for SMALL orders to be processed and shipped. Processing time could be longer depending on size. This does not include weekends or holidays.

+ How are products shipped?

All items will be shipped through USPS.

TIP: Please review your order to not only ensure its contains the correct items but also correct address. If you are purchasing a gift to be sent to someone other than you, please provide their shipping address.

+ I entered the wrong shipping address. Will I have to pay shipping a second time?

Unfortunately, entering an incorrect address could result in delays and additional cost. Any returned packages due to incorrect address or information missing from the address will be subject to a fee (shipping rate) to resend the package to the customer. You will be given the option to pay for the shipping or opt for a refund to place the order again with the correct address. Because every situation is different, we will handle this on a case by case basis.

+ What happens if my container is broken or my butter leaked?

During the summer months, the product will be exposed to higher temperatures. The extreme heat could alter the initial state to the product but should return once at room temperature. We do implement steps to properly prepare the product. However, mother nature is often a difficult opponent.

+ Do you accept returns?

In order to maintain freshness and to offer safe products for all of our customers, we do not accept returns.

+ My order isn't what I expected, what should I do?

If you are unsatisfied with your order, please email us at charlierenee55@gmail.com as soon as possible. We will work to rectify any issues.

+ I placed my order a while ago and I haven't received it yet, what's going on?

Charlie Renee Butters are made to order products . We are focused on quality and safety so we never want to sacrifice the quality. We really appreciate your business and work really hard to ensure you receive your product in a timely fashion.

+ Why do you offer fragrances in the Mango Butter that you don't offer in the Shea Butter?

I know this may be confusing but my reason is to provide you with the best product. Raw Mango Butter is relatively no fragrance. Unrefined Shea Butter has presents a strong nutty fragrance. The nutty fragrance of Shea Butter and some of the essential oil/fragrance blends offer does not compliment each other. I would need to use a large amount of essential oil/fragrance to attempt to mute the natural fragrance of Shea Butter. This is not recommended

+ How do I use Charlie Renee Butters?

Charlie Renee butters can be used as a deep conditioning treatment, pomade for twists or locs, Sealant and moisturizer for the hair and body, and for strengthening nails.

+ Are your products and/or ingredients tested on animals?

No, none of our products or ingredients are test on animals.

+ How to use the body butters?

Please remember to always give your hair at least a dry spritz before detangling. On hair: It is best to apply when the hair is damp and then styled (braids/twists). Charlie Renee Butters can also be applied to dry hair to help replenish moisture and assist with detangling.
On body: Apply immediately after drying off from your bath or shower for smooth, supple skin. Applying Charlie Renee after a bath will seal in the moisture.
On nails: Massage Charlie Renee Butters onto your nails everyday for stronger, longer nails in less than 2 weeks. The butter will also nourish your cuticles. For Men Charlie Renee's Butter will moisturize and soften your body, face and hair. This is an excellent softener for calloused hands and feet.

For beards Apply to your beard after you have washed your face. For body, Apply immediately after drying off from a shower or bath. For callous Apply twice a day for 2 weeks and watch your skin soften.

+ Is Charlie Renee Butters safe for children?

Yes! Charlie Butters has been tested on our family members of all ages before it is delivered to your doorstep. If your child is experiencing problems with sensitive, dry skin, this is the perfect product for your son or daughter. My 8 years old niece uses this body on her hair and body. She loves it.

Charlie Renee Butters contains tree nuts.

+ What is the shelf life of Charlie Renee's Butters?

Charlie Renee Butters has the shelf life of 6 to 8 months

+ Does your products contain citrus?

Charlie Renee Grapefruit and Bergmaot and Ylang Ylang contains citrus essential oils.

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

If you are unsatisfied with your order, please email us at charlierenee55@gmail.com as soon as possible. We will work to rectify any issues.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.  Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
